Your media server tells KueSync how much of the clip is left, and the presenter sees it under the Timer, in yellow, then red, as it runs out.
The situation. Mitti plays the roll-ins. The presenter needs to know when the video ends so they can walk back on, and you want it in front of you too.
1Enable OSC input. Off by default; it binds nothing until you turn it on and never touches slide sync.
2UDP port: any free port, for example 53001. Your player sends to this.
3Media servers: the IP address of the machine running Mitti or PlaybackPro. Blank means this computer only, so a player on another machine is not heard until its address is here.
4Default source: Mitti, PlaybackPro, External, Embedded (a video inside the deck) or Auto (whichever is live).
Anticipation lead pulls the count-out forward a little to make up for network delay, so it lands on 0:00 when the clip does. Show video file name adds the clip’s name under the time.
2Point the player at the Leader
Mitti: turn on its OSC output and send it to the Leader’s IP address and the port from step 1. KueSync reads Mitti’s cue time left and current cue name.
PlaybackPro, or anything that sends OSC: send /kuesync/video/remaining <seconds> to the same address and port (optionally followed by playing, source and name).
3Show it on the screens
Timer screen: turn on Video count-out below the timer in each machine’s Settings › Displays › Timer screen. It is per screen, so a stage monitor can have it and a keyed program clock can leave it off.
Notes screen:Include video count-out expands the Timer PIP while a clip rolls.
KueSync Control shows it in the Timer, under the clock, by itself.
4Test it
The Timer screen: the clip’s time left under the clock, with a timer message below it. It fades out at 0:00.KueSync Control: the source and time left under the clock, alongside a timer message.
Play a clip in the player. The count-out should appear on every Timer screen you turned it on for and in KueSync Control within a moment, and fade out at 0:00.
