Leader is presenter on (the default): the Leader runs the deck too, alongside the followers. Right for a small show with one laptop on stage.
Off: the Leader sits at the tech table and drives the fleet without presenting; only the followers show the slides.
It is in Settings › Show control › Advancers, on this Leader’s card. On a backup Leader standing by, off means it follows the clock and screens but not the deck.
2Presenting followers
1Armed (on by default): this follower takes the fleet’s cues. Off parks it: it sits the show out but stays on the network and keeps its Fleet Folder. Use it for a spare.
2Slide driver: a clicker plugged into this follower drives the whole fleet. Set from the Leader; see Who is advancing?.
3Dedicated full-screen display: a screen-only machine (step 3).
4Ignore local clicks: while a slideshow is up here, this machine ignores its own keyboard, mouse and clicker, so nobody at the lectern can push this screen out of step. It keeps following the Leader; Escape still works.
Machine groups. Name a set of machines once in Settings › Fleet › Machine groups (Main, Backup, Breakout) and pick it anywhere you pick machines: a deck’s launch, a clicker, Companion.
3Display-only screens
A confidence monitor, a Timer on the downstage monitor, a Cue Lights screen: on that follower turn on Dedicated full-screen display (non-slideshow), then open the screen you want from its Displays settings. A fleet-wide deck launch skips it, so it can never be pulled into a slideshow, while its Timer, Notes and Cue Lights keep updating with the fleet. KueSync Control tags it DISPLAY.
Clean program screens: KueSync never puts a dialog of its own over a full-screen display, but it cannot hold back the operating system’s notifications. On any machine feeding a program screen, turn on Do Not Disturb (Mac Focus, Windows Do not disturb).
2The machines button (it reads All, or a group name) opens the panel under the deck.
3The panel: the machines it launches on, which advancers may drive it, and its timer, which starts when the deck launches. Press Apply; it is saved with the show.
4Launch: one confirmation names the machines, the clicker and what the clock will do.
During the show
5Run it in Now Playing
Now Playing shows the running deck and its slide. Under it: the advance targets for the buttons, First, Restart, Go deck, End show, and big BACK and NEXT.
Two decks at once: each running deck gets its own row, with the machines it is on, its slide, which advancer drives it, and its own First, Restart, Back, Next and Close. Launch the next presenter’s deck on the backup group while the current one plays, then close the first from its own row.
Notes: with two decks running, the NOTES marker on a row sets which one the Notes screen follows.
Jump: type a slide number and press Go, and every machine lands at the top of that slide.
Troubleshooting
What you see
Fix
A presenting machine’s slideshow ended on its own
Its Now Playing row says so. Press Relaunch to bring it back to the deck’s slide.
One machine is a slide or a build off
Turn on Self-correct (Settings › Sync and network) and it is brought back as the show moves on. Or type the slide number and Go to put every machine at the top of the slide.
A deck launched on the confidence monitor
Turn on Dedicated full-screen display on that machine; launches skip it from then on.
Someone at the lectern pressed a key and that screen moved
Turn on Ignore local clicks on that follower.
The Notes screen shows the wrong presenter
Move the NOTES marker to the right deck in Now Playing.
