Your run of show, imported as you wrote it, on every screen in the fleet. Each GO moves every screen, sets the Timer and can launch the next deck.
The situation. A one-day conference with thirty cues. The run of show lives in a Google Sheet, the stage manager wants STANDBY and GO in the wings, and the A2 wants to see who is on which mic.
Show Flow reads your sheet as written, so a tidy sheet imports exactly.
One row per cue, with a number in a column headed Cue, Cue #, Item#, # or Line item. 18, 18A, 18.5 and Q18 all count. A row with no number and no time is read as a title.
Start (8:30 AM or 14:30), Duration (5:00 or 5 mins), Item or Title, and Speaker or Presenter. With no Duration, each cue runs until the next one starts.
MIC: one person per line, like Dana Ruiz - LAV 1. KueSync builds the mic list from it (next step).
Deck or Launch: a Fleet Folder deck number, like 3. That deck launches when its cue goes. A Slides column is shown, not launched.
Every other column (Lights, Audio, Video, Notes) comes along under its own title.
Check AM and PM. One start time in the wrong half of the day hides the On time, Ahead and Behind reading for that cue. 24-hour times avoid it. More in the FAQ.
2Get the mic list right
AI Import builds the Mics window from your sheet: every mic, who is on it, and the cues it is used in, in the order the show uses them. It reads the mics from each cue’s MIC cell, so that is where they have to be.

Three cues of a sheet that imports a full mic list. Each MIC cell has one line per person.
Head the column MIC. MICS or MIC # work too.
One person per line, name then mic: Kat Lee - LAV 3. Put each person on a new line inside the same cell.
Name the kind of mic with its number: LAV, HH (handheld) or Headset, like LAV 3 or HH 1. A mic written only as MIC 5 stays MIC 5 unless the sheet says somewhere what kind number 5 is.
Every mic you want on the list goes in a cue, even one nobody wears: Q&A aisle left - HH 2. A mic that is in no MIC cell is not on the list.
Two mics on one person: Kat Lee - LAV 3 / HH 13.
Full names once. A cue can say Priya - LAV 2 when the full name, Dr Priya Patel, is written in a mic key (below). The Mics window shows the full name.
A mic key is optional. A small table anywhere on the sheet, headed MIC and PRESENTER (or NAME), one mic per row: LAV 2, Dr Priya Patel. It lends full names to the cues. It doesn’t add mics on its own.
Use AI Import. Cells copied from a spreadsheet are read exactly as written, and the mic list is built. Load as-is brings in the cues and columns only.
The Mics window after importing that sheet: LAV 1 to 4 and HH 1 to 3, in order of use. Priya became Dr Priya Patel from the mic key.
Open it from Mics in KueSync Control or on any Show Flow screen. Edit there changes a name or a mic, and every cue that uses it follows.
3Import it
1In KueSync Control, open Show Flow and press Import. Select the whole table in Google Sheets or Excel, header row included (and the mic key if you have one), copy it, and paste it here.
2AI Import. A spreadsheet file or a Google Sheets link, lower in the same window, works the same way. An emailed agenda in plain text is read by AI and turned into cues for you.
Importing replaces the cues in the open show. Show Settings ▾ saves, renames and duplicates shows, and saves a show to a file you can carry to the next venue.
4Set what each cue does
1Press ✎ Edit, then ··· on a cue. Every setting for that cue is in this window.
2Drives the Timer: taking the cue sets the fleet Timer. Timer mode is a countdown of its length, Count up, a hard out at its end time, or Time of day.
3When it ends: Stop here, or Continue to the next cue at its end time.
4Preroll: GO sets the Timer now and starts it 1 to 60 seconds later.
The same window has Notes zoom, a ROLL RECORDS or STOP RECORDS reminder, Advancers and timed Timer messages. ⇅ Reorder sets the order your columns are called in, for every screen showing the show.
5Put it on screens
A fleet machine:KueSync menu › Open Show Flow…, or Settings › Displays › Show Flow screen › Open.
The GO Light, a full-screen STANDBY and GO for the wings: Settings › Displays › GO Light screen.
Crew off the show network: a Show Flow link with a PIN for each person, from Crew (Remote crew and screens).
Columns on any Show Flow screen hides or stars columns for that screen only, so the A2 sees MICS and AUDIO first.
A Show Flow screen on a stage manager’s monitor.
The GO Light at the moment of GO.
STANDBY: the GO Light turns red with the next cue.
GO: it turns green with the cue just taken, for 3 seconds.
Put it on any fleet machine in the wings, or on any screen over the internet with a link and PIN from Settings › GO Light links.
During the show
6Call the show
1NOW, in green, is the live cue, with On time, Ahead or Behind against its planned start.
2STANDBY, in red, is the next cue.
3STANDBY flashes the next cue on every Show Flow screen and lights the GO Light red. Key: S.
4GO takes the next cue on every screen, sets the Timer and launches its deck. Key: G. ‹ Prev cue steps back.
To jump, tap any cue in the list to run it. Unlocked, beside Edit, locks the show: every edit then needs the PIN.
From Companion and QLab
The KueSync · Show Flow presets give you GO, Previous cue, a cue by its line item, and NOW and STANDBY keys. From QLab, send /kuesync/showflow/standby and /kuesync/showflow/next.
7Crew, mics and edits
Mics opens every mic with full names and the cues it is used in (step 2). Change a mic once and every cue that uses it follows.
Follower editing lets a machine edit chosen columns on its own Show Flow screen, such as MICS and AUDIO for the A2.
Show Caller settings give a role its columns, for a person on a follower or by email.
Undo and Redo sit beside Edit: ⌘Z and ⇧⌘Z, or Ctrl+Z and Ctrl+Shift+Z on a PC.
Troubleshooting
What you see
Fix
The On time, Ahead or Behind reading is gone on one cue
Check that cue’s start time and the next one’s for an AM and PM mix-up.
A cue went but no deck launched
Only a column headed Deck or Launch, holding a deck number, launches. Check the number matches the deck in the Fleet Folder.
A cue went but the Timer didn’t change
That cue’s Drives the Timer is off. Turn it on in the cue settings window.
A row came in as a title, not a cue
It has no cue number and no time. Give it a number in the Cue column.
Edit asks for a PIN
The show is locked. Enter the PIN, or press Locked beside Edit to unlock it.
There’s no STANDBY button
Turn on Standby button in Show Settings. It is per screen.
A mic is missing from the Mics window
It is in no cue’s MIC cell. Add it to the cue that uses it, for example Q&A aisle left - HH 2. A mic key alone adds names, not mics.
The Mics window shows a first name only
Write the full name once: in that cue’s MIC cell, or in a mic key headed MIC and PRESENTER.
A mic reads MIC 5, not LAV 5
Write the kind with the number in the MIC cells: LAV 5, HH 5 or Headset 5.
The Mics window is empty after an import
The sheet came in with Load as-is, which brings the cues only. Import it again with AI Import.
Pre-show checklist
The sheet imported with every cue numbered and the times right.
The Mics window lists every mic, with full names, in order of use.
Timer, When it ends and Preroll set on the cues that need them.
Deck numbers in the Deck column match the Fleet Folder.
Show Flow open on every screen that needs it, and the GO Light in the wings.
One STANDBY and GO run, with the Timer and the deck following.
